If we're unable to collect a Direct Debit payment for any reason, we'll usually try again within a few days. It sounds like this could be what's happened here.
When checking your bank statement, do both payments have the same reference number?
Did the first payment completely clear from your account, or was it rejected?
If both payments have completely cleared, or they each have a different reference number, please let us know. We'll advise on the best next step to get that taken care of.
