Contract Ending

My 24 month Contract runs out on the 14/09/2024.When a contract ends it should end on that day.Why do i have to still give a 30 day notice and still be charged.

Hello there. 

There seems there might be some confusion around the terms of your contract. You've referred to the end of the contract being the 14th of September, and that it should end on that date. That date refers to your minimum term end date on the contract. Contracts don't end on their own, a request to cancel needs to be made.

After the minimum term has passed, you're free to cancel the account without having to worry about a fee for early termination of the account. If you wanted the account to close on the 14th of September, you'd need to have set the notice back on the 15th of August. Alternatively, you can sidestep having to give notice if you're moving to a new network. You can do that by taking a PAC or STAC and giving that to the new provider.
