Hi how can I deactivate my voicemail.i am on three.tried to ring them at customer services but cannot speak personally

If you’re saying that your voicemail was inactive and that was your choice but it was activated against your wishes by customer service,then I’d agree that’s a pain;but probably an error rather than a disregarding of you as a customer.

Voicemail is always active by default!

Astonishingly you can only deactivate voicemail by calling customer service. There is no short code to enable you to do it yourself. Should you decide to reactivate the service at some point in the future then the same thing applies. If you’re on payg then you will need to use live chat to contact them otherwise it’s 333.

There is no option on 333 to deactivate voicemail.

Correct ! You’ll need to speak to customer service rather that use a non existent menu option.
