False information by sales person.


I was told yesterday that it would take 24 hours for my old number to be transferred to my 3 account. 

This morning I was told that it takes 24 hours from when they close the branch.

I was given false information by a sales person and as a new customer I'm not very happy being lied to.

If you are that unhappy you can always cancel your contract and go elsewhere. Alternatively,  it sounds like the shop assistant, or whatever they are called these days, failed to give you the complete information. I doubt that they deliberately lied.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been given misleading information about the timescales to move your number over. I'm assuming we're talking about porting a number from your previous network to a new Three account?

Ports are dealt with in terms of working days, if you arranged this before 6PM it should be moved the next working day, or if after 6PM within 2 working days. Is the number transfer all sorted now?
