I’ll be travelling for a month later this year, and was wondering what I would do if I lost my phone, since I would not be able to obtain a replacement SIM.
Would it be possible to carry a deactivated SIM which could be swapped over and activated in the event that my phone is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately not. Once a replacement SIM is provided the old one is deactivated. Only way around this is maybe using eSIM instead if the phone supports it.

Good suggestion @MZone, I double checked this in response to a previous topic, and confirmed that eSIMs can be activated whilst roaming. We've had at least one community member confirm they've done so too.
