DO NOT USE THREE TRADE IN
I’ve received an email about my device stating it’s been received and my payment was confirmed, 3/4/25, it has been 5 working days and are still yet to receive my payment, I have contacted Ingram who have said oh the phone and in writing that 3 are responsible for making the payment and should contact them! That would be great if I hadn’t already contacted 3 and been told the opposite and that it is ingram’s responsibility to pay! It is literally robbery, stealing devices and making up random delay reasons as to why the money hasn’t hit my account, even accused my bank of withholding the funds even though i’ve contacted them also! Do not Trade in with 3

I'm really sorry to hear you're still awaiting your trade in payment, Please be assured we do pass on feedback in regards to any issues that are shared here, but we've merged the two topics as these are around the same situation.
I appreciate this must be causing a lot of frustration, and it's never good when a timescale is missed, but I'm sure if you've sent your device in, then you'll receive the promised payment in good faith as soon as the issue delaying this has been investigated and resolved.

DO NOT USE THREE, I have traded my old device with them and they have kept my phone and payment, thrown me from department to department for days and are now accusing me of never giving them my device even though i have multiple emails with confirmation they have received it, DO NOT TRADE WITH THEM
THEY STEAL MONEY AND DEVICES
On the phone to them everyday trying to resolve this and they put me hold for hours and hang up! they are thieves and terrible with customer service

I do get bored when people come on this forum and accuse a perfectly legitimate company of acting in a fraudulent manner. It’s simply not the case. I get your frustration and I’d probably feel the same however you’d be better off channeling said frustration by making a complaint via the Three homepage.

I get bored of this “company” of passing me from department to department after i’ve raised complaint several times and been ignored, it’s great that you feel they are acting within their right but they are not, as they have confirmed to me they have received my device and my money has been sent but now they are claiming they never received it, tell me what isn’t fraudulent about theft and withholding someone’s refund
maybe instead of sitting on your high horse you could go bother someone else, you are just as bad as the customer service team, useless and offer no true help or compassion, let’s hope this doesn’t happen to you ay

I'm really sorry to hear about the delay with receiving your Trade In payment, and any confusion around how this is processed when you've got in touch. Our partners at Ingram handle receiving devices, and grading them to confirm the values of any payments, but we do handle the process of sending the refund once they communicate this back to us.
We'll do our best to support you with getting this sorted out, can you help me understand the timeline of events please? On 03/04/2025 did you receive an email from the Trade In team advising that your payment will be made to your bank within 5 working days (by 10/04/2025)?

Yes I received an email, stating that my device has been accepted and i’m awaiting payment from 3/4/2025 in 5 working days,
was pushed back and forth from 3 to ingram either one of them accepting responsibly for missing money. The agent at 3 said, there is a delay in my payment and wait to the end of the day but was stil not told what this delay is and it’s now friday and stil haven’t received any funds.
I will be reporting this to obudsman as it’s theft, the policy is 5 working days and it’s been breach, three should be ashamed of themselves!
If the money isn’t recieved by midnight tonight, I will take this even further
