So I've been trying for wellover a month to get the payment promised by three when trading in my old device. I opted to trade in through three assuming it was an in house service. After sending my device and tracking that it had been delivered, I received an email that the payment would be released and could take three to five days. That was on the 15th of October. Still recieved nothing. Three say that they don't manage these payments and to contact the Ingram company directly. After being on hold for over an hour I spoke to an operator at Ingram that said all payments are processed by three and that he had sent confirmation for the payment to be released.
Spoke to three billing department who said that it was up toingram to make the payment. Another hour on hold to Ingram and they say that they haven't been in charge of payments for 10 weeks. They used to manage them but no longer do.
Three just keep giving me the number for Ingram and telling me to take it up with them and Ingram deny all responsibility.
How can three use a company that they have no contact with? Why am I being bounced from person to person?
Before someone from three replies with the generic response
I have contacted Ingram directly via phone and email.
I chose for the money to be payed to my BANK account.
I've escalated it with threes billing department.
Had email confirmation that the device was received and payment would be released.
I'm a pay monthly customer.
As far as I'm concerned, three stole my phone and scammed me out of money. I could have sold the phone privately for more than offered here but this seemed like the least amount of hassle. How wrong was I?
I assume there are many others out there in the same situation from browsing this forum.
