I got the Zyxel NR5103 5G broadband about 8 months ago and the speeds were amazing. Then about two months ago the speed dropped dramatically - sometimes to 1 - 3 mb. I was told there was engineering work which would be sorted by the 12th June but the speeds are still abysmal and working from home using teams is virtually impossible. Is anyone else having similar problems in Chester and does anyone know how this might get resolved?
Thanks, Dennis

Still no joy and more misinformation about 5G becoming available last week. i think I'll ask for a termination of contract as clearly not working

That's really frustrating! Sorry about this. Can I just check a few things with you both?
@Sman55 when you're connected to the router are you getting a 5G connection?
@AX Are you using the same device and can you also confirm if you're connecting to 5G?
Could you both go through the troubleshooting steps on this page: https://www.three.co.uk/support/home-broadband?intid=hbbsupportnav
Also if you could check if you're getting a 5G connection on another device?
Thanks

No, there is no 5G connection. There used to be, but not for about two months now. I was told there was engineering work that would finish on the 12th June, then yesterday that it would finish Monday. I'm not get 5G on my three phone either - though that's not much of a problem - though the signal is better on that and I've been tethering to that for most of my teams meetings

Not in Chester, but sounds like a similar experience. I'm in Huddersfield and since the beginning of May 2023 the speeds and general network stability and performance have been atrocious. Every week I contact customer support I'm told 'the engineering work in my area will be sorted next week'. Still waiting for 'Next week' to arrive.

It’s not good is it? I feel support don’t t have a clue as to what’s going on.
