Hi, I have the new 5G three router, with the three checker stating there is 5G in my location, however I am in a dip I just recieve LTE 4G if i go 50 to 100yards outside my house I pick up a full 5G signal. The 5G router is capable to fit an external antenna, my question is how do I find where the 5G mast is exactly located (to point the antenna at) also what frequency the mast is running at (so I purchase the correct antenna) example: 3.6 to 4ghz or 700mhz. Thanks

Hey @SM
What model of 5G router are you using? You should be able to find the best possible position for your router using the ZTE Link app or the Three 5G Broadband app.
We don't supply or test external antennas so we can't guarantee or recommend these for use (or specific settings for their use), but other community users have shared good experiences using these.
If you drop your postcode into our network status checker, are there any reported issues in your area at the moment? How did you take your 5G broadband contract out, was that over the phone or online?

It's unlikely that Three will divulge the exact location of any of their 5G masts. This is because 5G masts were a target of vandalism back in 2020. One person tried to extort money out of a network and got three years jail.
You can spot 5G panels quite easily as they look like this.
