Having just moved from BT fttp to three 5g my lights and sockets won't connect to the 2.4ghz network. I have a E5-250MA. I have unmerged the networks. Tried switching off the 5ghz network and leaving on the 2.4ghz network. I have tried using the 2.4ghz guest network but the devices won't connect. Any advise and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you managed to get some lights set up. Port forwarding is an option within the Admin page of the Hub. You'll find the log in information on the bottom or back of the Hub. I believe UPnP is enabled by default, so basic automated port forwarding should work with most apps.
