Hi
I currently have Sky Broadband with a Sky HD box using dish for TV reception current download speed is a very poor 5ms.
I am thinking of changing to 5G Broadband (correct for area I am in) can you please advise following.
Can I connect the HD box to the 5g router via an ethernet cable? or does it need to be connected?
Will the software updates for Sky HD box still work?
Will the catch up and streaming items on the HD box still work?
Having just signed up for TV with Sky I need still to sign up for Broadband.
Any help in the above would be appreciated

Firstly check the 5g coverage in your area and yes you can connect an Ethernet cable to the router.
2) yes the Sky box will update.
3) Sky recommend a minimum speed of 25mbps for streaming of playback so check with Three for your minimum expected speed.
Lastly donโt rush into any decisions. Take your time and weigh up all your options.
Good luck.
