King's Cross Area Speeds Extremely Slow?

rumboe

For the past 5 days my Home Broadband download speeds in the King's Cross area have been stuck at around or below 1 mbps. I have tried restarting the device, using ethernet cable, putting the sim in my phone, the speed remains the same. I called to ask and they said they have no timeline on whether or not it will be fixed, and now I have to wait for Monday again to call because even though they said the chat service is live on the weekends, it just asks me for my details, and then 3 minutes later tells me that nobody is available and ends the chat.

It's disappointing to see the issue is still ongoing.

No one at the Community has access to your account, this is a space for other Three users, you would need to speak to the Support Team on phone or by using Livechat in order to make that kind of request.

Pete.

Update a week later

Hello, Rumboe.

Those aren't the best speeds. Hopefully you'll see a return to normal soon enough. The teams are around at the weekend, but at a reduced capacity. If the lines get overly busy, the system will be unable to connect you with an agent or place you in the queue. You can try again today, or hold on until Monday instead.

Pete.

It went all to poop on the 4th of Feb, the issue resolved itself itself for one evening on the 10th, bringing me normal speeds. But the next day it went back to poop again. It has been nearly another 2 weeks since then. This is leaving me wondering if it actually is the mast, how come it can suddenly work for one night?

Hi @rumboe,

Sorry to hear this is ongoing, it sounds like some work was being carried out on the mast if there was a temporary change on the 10th, but you'd need to speak to the team to get more insight on this. Did you get in touch with the team as Pete suggested? If so what did they advise?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Second update 2 weeks later. There is no way you guys can charge me £28 a month for service like this. They tell me to wait a week every week, and I have to cancel 30 days in advance. I live in Central London for fs, get it together. Even my Voxi 4G speeds are getting 60 mbps at the same location. Please offer me a refund or something along those lines I cannot take it anymore.
