Phone and broadband only getting 100mbps max now

Hello, I joined three in October last year where my speeds we're over 250mbps daily and for some odd reason both my contract sim and 5g broadband sim only seem to be reaching a max of 100mbps ill provide screen shots as evidence started happening around the 16th of this month " April " 2025 ive been in contact with live chat but they are always telling me 5g is not fully in my area yet when both my phone and the outdoor hub they supplied me was getting amazing speeds at first but as time is going on I feel like it's slowing down now I know they don't cap speeds and no fair use policy so I'm just wondering what's going on? I've reset the hub changed sims, apns and at this point I don't know what else I can try.. I see on the forums people are getting problems with only reaching a maximum of 120mbps after a period of time with being with three. Was hoping someone from three could help me out as ive been on the live chat all week. Thanks

I cant see the image on that last post - just a yellow triangle

Just a thought do you have trees between you and the nearest Three mast - the leaves would have been coming out this month.

I mounted my external hub on a aerial pole on my roof to try and stay above the tree line.

Hi @MymsMan,

We pre-moderate any images, just to be on the safe side, so there may be some delays with those posted in evenings/weekends. The yellow triangle is a placeholder. Sorry for the delay there!

Thanks,
Jonathan

I didn't think of that you know could be possible 😅

Now that I can see the image, the problem is with the signal from the Three mast,

I you can log into the hub (https://192.168.0.1/#/login admin password on hub label) you will be able to see the 5G and 4G signal strengths.  AFAIK there is no way to regularly monitor the signal strength,  when I check 5G is in the mid 70s and I get excellent speeds (7-800Mbps) in the eero speed tests - somewhat less at the PC.

How feasible is for you to go through hub setup again and see if there is a better location to mount it.

Hello i put my hub higher now getting 80 signal strength but around the same speeds but my upload is alot higher now. Thank you

Have you somehow changed your connection from 5 GHz band to slower 2.4 GHz band?

With these eero routers you are unable to change the frequency so it auto connects to the best band even on wired its the same outcome.
