Hello, I joined three in October last year where my speeds we're over 250mbps daily and for some odd reason both my contract sim and 5g broadband sim only seem to be reaching a max of 100mbps ill provide screen shots as evidence started happening around the 16th of this month " April " 2025 ive been in contact with live chat but they are always telling me 5g is not fully in my area yet when both my phone and the outdoor hub they supplied me was getting amazing speeds at first but as time is going on I feel like it's slowing down now I know they don't cap speeds and no fair use policy so I'm just wondering what's going on? I've reset the hub changed sims, apns and at this point I don't know what else I can try.. I see on the forums people are getting problems with only reaching a maximum of 120mbps after a period of time with being with three. Was hoping someone from three could help me out as ive been on the live chat all week. Thanks

With these eero routers you are unable to change the frequency so it auto connects to the best band even on wired its the same outcome.

With the eero router you can run a speedtest in the eero app which will show the speed that the hub is receiving from the mast without the complications of your home network.
I can specify preferred band in the network adapter settings on my PC,
If I don't specify 'prefer 5GHz' speeds become unpredicatble and range from 50 Mbps and 450 Mbps
I have a separate issue where speeds are only 40 Mbps after waking from sleep which I am invetigating with Intel support. A workaround is to disable Wake on magic packet and Wake on pattern
BTW case is signifcant in units of measure m - milli, M - mega, b - bits, B - bytes

You are correct but I have a wired connection to my pc from the eero router ill run a speed test though the eero router as i forgot about that will give it ago, I had an issue with windows 11 and my wifi adapter which was messing with speeds but got a cable instead now even my phone seems to get the same speeds now and they are both 3 sims one contract and one for my hub. What is magic packet never heard of that? Thanks

The Wake options are for Wake on Lan to bring a PC out of sleep by a special WAN message, not something I use
It was when I got a wired connection established that I realised that all the speed variations I was seeing, so far, have been related to windows networking issues rather than Three network. Obviously Three is not immune from problems but it is important to determine which side of the hub the problem lies. Does the network status page show any problems and does the coverage checker still show good signal for your address,

Yes i understand this like with every company the status of my mast had never changed since the day I joined three and good coverage outside I use the newest hub. Used to be over 200mbps and all of sudden wont go over 100mbps now so puzzled to what has happened been on the live chat with them for nearly a week walking through different avenues but to no luck so far.
