I solved the pairing plan issue for the galaxy 6 watch you have to ask three to change your phone number before when I tried to set up a plan it kept saying I already have a plan in place no matter what I did,I know this isn't an ideal solution but atleast it works

Doesn't that mean you lose your personal mobile number though? 

You may as well use a Lyca Mobile eSIM which only costs £3.90 for 3GB

I thought the idea behind the watch pairing plan was so you could leave your phone at home and people could still call you on your usual mobile number, without having to give out 2 numbers to everyone.

Dereats the purpose of the plan all together.

I changed my mobile number I have that same number for my watch it was the only way to get the plan working for some reason I kept getting a message telling me i already have a plan in progress with my  old mobile number but I did not get the plan I signed up for originally which was 24 months the first 6 months free instead I have to pay £7 a month.
