Google Smart Watch

Hi all,

Now we have the new Pixel along with the LTE smart watch, when can we expect to see compatibility with the pairing plan such as the Apple watches?

Three confirmed to me that this would be an additional cost of 5 pound a month to share the phones data plan, any time frames?

Thanks!

Like all above, I am desperate to pair my Pixel Watch 2 LTE with the my Pixel Pro 8.

Speaking to technical support (if you can call them that), they have fobbed me off with so many different solutions to pair them, it's unbelievable. I even had one tell me I need to download the mythree app to my watch and find the ' Smartwatch Pair add-on' and pair them that way,  and because I bought my phone and watch directly from Goggle Store, I had to provide proof of purchase, both IMEI numbers for the phone & watch and also the e-sim number for the phone.

Why are the not just honest, and admit they are not yet offering pairing for the Google devices!

Searching on anything for smartwatch pairing, only gives you Apple or Samsung. Now you are selling the both the Pixel 8 & 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2, you should already have a process in place to have pairing available to your customers before you went live with offering the devices for sale.

Please pass this message on to your complaints department, as its a terrible service I have experienced!

Just to add to my above post. This thread started a year ago, and it still isn't being offered as an add-on for Google pixel phone and watch users. It just goes to show either EE & Vodafone have an agreement that only they can offer LTE pairing for Google devices, or Three just cannot be bothered to extend it out past Apple and Samsung users!

A whole year without a solution.....

It's a joke. The other main providers all offer smart watch pairing. I've been with three for over 15 years but will be leaving at the end of this contract.

It's February now, still no word from Three. I'm guessing they feel there's just bit enough demand for this to put in the effort 🫤

Thanks for highlighting your interest in this folks. As @PeteG mentioned, there's not a list per se, but I'll certainly be passing on all the feedback. 🙂

Please don't limit this to Pixel watches - us Samsung Watch5 users also want in on the action!

Hey @isomeruk,

Thanks for raising this point, for the moment all I can say is that we're looking into options for expanding the range of supported smartwatches, and I'm sure we'll be talking about it on the community as soon as we have anything we can officially share!

Hello.

We don't have any update regarding specific devices as of yet, but we can confirm that we won't be adding additional devices in 2022.

Hopefully we'll have some news to share in the new year.

Pete.
