Keep number and sim but a new phone

I am in the process of buying a new iPhone and contract from Three and my husband is taking my old iphone.  He has a sim only plan with Three and wishes to keep this and his number.  Tried looking on website but can’t find what we need to do to move his number and sim to a new phone.  Any help appreciated or where to find instructions.  Many Thanks.

Hi @DeniseM,

Good news there, all he needs to do is insert his SIM in your old phone. Other than this, you may want to remove your info from the old phone. Apple have a guide for what to do if selling or giving away an iPhone here.
