Hi
I upgraded to a new Samsung phone and kept my old phone number and used my old sim card but on the "My profile " it has a different number which is not mine and you can not delete or edit. I have spoken to 3 chat and they did not seem to understand what I was saying and then closed the chat lol. Does anybody know how to get rid of this extra number. I have tried going into the sim setting and it does not show up my own sim card whcih is weird because my old number works with the phone as does this other number which is not mine.
Pretty frustrating when using apps and they think the "profile number" is my number which it is not
Thanks
Paul

Hello.
That's quite strange especially since you've went straight to the new device with a SIM you already had.
As MZone suggested, it might be a good idea to speak to Samsung just to see what their advice is on this. It would be good to hear about how you got on with them?
Pete.

You’re probably better asking this question on a Samsung forum.
