Calling issue 23/01/2025 [UPDATED]

Hi everyone,

UPDATE: Following an issue affecting voice calls yesterday, services have almost returned to normal overnight. Our monitoring has picked up an issue with calls connected via WiFI which we are investigating urgently.

Today, we also expect to see an additional impact on our service due to Storm ร‰owyn in some areas. We have already deployed extra engineering resources and planning for these areas, so we can bring sites that are impacted back online as soon as it is safe to do so.

A normal volume of 999 calls were connected yesterday and our monitoring confirms the service is working fully this morning. โ€ฏWe continue to investigate the small number of reports that we received about 999 call failures. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused by the issues on our voice network. 


Due to these issues, our phone and chat lines are and will continue to be incredibly busy, so we're aware there may also be issues getting through to the teams at the moment. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Although my son whoโ€™s two miles down the road is suggesting his phone is able to make and receive calls and heโ€™s also with three, Anything else

Network down has been failing since 1pm today. Cannot receive calls or make calls. Poor internet connection, have been restarting my phone but no improvements. ๐Ÿ˜”

With nothing coming back from Three regarding not being able to phoneโ€ฆ google iPhone Satellite to make emergency calls.

Canโ€™t receive it make calls at all turned phone on and off a number of times

Down detector reports a spike of over 3000 complaints about the network and inability to make calls.

Come on 3, admit you have issues!!

Why have we still no access to outgoing and incoming calls on our mobiles. This is disgraceful not even any notice this would be happening. Since just after 11.00 a.m this morning no calls in or out. What a disgraceful service. Not impressed not a happy loyal customer ๐Ÿ˜ž 

Three get your act together. Plus Three network should be giving customers compensation. Why should we pay for no service??? Disgusting so annoyed ๐Ÿ˜

I have spent the day unable to make or receive calls even when contacted to wi-Fi so I have checked my phone itโ€™s not the problem which has been confirmed by a worried WhatsApp call from elderly parents with the same issues. 
please could someone explain the problem and how long it will take to fix.

Even I have the issue in E12, London past few hours as Whatsapp calls and data is fine
