Hi everyone,
UPDATE: Following an issue affecting voice calls yesterday, services have almost returned to normal overnight. Our monitoring has picked up an issue with calls connected via WiFI which we are investigating urgently.
Today, we also expect to see an additional impact on our service due to Storm Éowyn in some areas. We have already deployed extra engineering resources and planning for these areas, so we can bring sites that are impacted back online as soon as it is safe to do so.
A normal volume of 999 calls were connected yesterday and our monitoring confirms the service is working fully this morning. We continue to investigate the small number of reports that we received about 999 call failures. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused by the issues on our voice network.
Due to these issues, our phone and chat lines are and will continue to be incredibly busy, so we're aware there may also be issues getting through to the teams at the moment. Please bear with us as we work through this.

I"m having the same problems as you and the digital assistant is terrible. it says the live chat is closed for today, but on the website it says its open until 10pm. I'm reliant on my phone as I'm alone and disabled, I can't make or recieve calls. I'm using my laptop at the moment but can't make calls through this either, my phone is an iPhone 14 pro max. any advice much appreciated

Its also allowing me to receive text messages, but i dont get any notification, they just appear in my inbox.
At least its clear to be a network issue and not phone / software related

I was stressing it was my phone . I was on phone to drs when my call was cut

I need my phone incase my dad needs to contact me urgently as my mum has dementia and kicks off sometimes with him I have to go down to help

I have the same problem. Been trying to make calls all day. I can’t reach 333 also. I can’t receive incoming calls either it says failed.

Yes I've now had this issue for over 3 hours. Far from ideal as its my work phone!
Based in Liverpool / using Iphone 15. Not sure if that makes a difference
