IPhone Hotspot Not Working

Hey guys, I’ve recently been using my hotspot a lot on my phone to connect to my laptop when travelling and ever since this week whenever I hotspot from my iPhone 15 pro running iOS 18.2, on my laptop it says it’s connected but has no internet, I currently pay as you go no contract for unlimited data, I’ve tried a lot of possible solutions and nothing seems to work

Hello, Max. 

That's strange. The network doesn't have any restrictions on how much of your data can be used to tether, so if you have unlimited, it should still work.
Has the issue only started happening since you were on iOS 18.2? Did it work at all since being on that version of the software? 
What about your Mobile data on the phone, does that work while the tethering is turned on? If not, what about while tethering is off?

Hi Pete, data works fine whether tethering is on or off, and I’ve had no issues tethering prior to updating iOS however I’ve also tried putting my sim into a 5g router and the router can’t connect to the internet either, so I am assuming there’s some sort of restriction on my sim? I’m not sure

Thanks for letting us know, Max. When you say you've been using it when travelling, has this been in the UK or abroad? If the latter, can you clarify what country you're in? Thanks.
