I wanted to say that 3 has worst internet ever.

I needed more data for downloading some games. My primary network is O2. I had spare 3 simcard so I bought plan with 100gb (I needed about additional 60gb, my o2 was 150gb). So download of this 60gb took 15 hours (!) whole night and morning. 120gb of o2 took 3 hours afternoon, when network is very busy

So still left about 40gb what I want to use on my way to work and in work and I can't because this 3 internet is very bad. My phone is showing, no connection or bad internet. When I switch on o2 - no problems..

I want to add I live in London in Dalston area and my way to work is straight to Edmonton, so internet should be perfect

After this I will not top up again data on 3, it was like put this f20 into bin. I changed my plan with o2 on 250gb for only £25 monthly. I don't want to waste my money anymore for something what I can't use..

What this comes down to is that not all networks give good performance in all areas. O2 in my area is the worst of the majors. The advice to anyone looking to change networks is to buy a cheap sim from one, or more, networks and test it in the areas you use most frequently and the times you would be there. Even this is no guarantee of future performance.

On the reverse I get excellent (yes you read it correctly) service in very rural West Norfolk.sc1999 gives good advice which I’d echo, although I confess to being a little surprised at your experience in North London;an area I know well. Just as a footnote,it might be worth checking the Three status page for issues before abandoning the network.

Best of luck.
