No network signal

I’ve had no signal for 2 days when at home or my local area it seems as soon as I leave my estate it comes back in with 3 for my mobile and can’t make calls due to this and we’re with 3 5g broadband also and it keeps going off and really slow, is anyone else having issues as when I do the network check online it’s saying that there isn’t any problems in my area.

Kingston Park or Great Park?

been down since Thursday at 12.30.

I have done the research for Three - it’s mast ID 2143 and it’s on the Airport Industrial Estate.

no one in Kingston Park, Fawdon or Great Park can get a connection, not even phone calls.

I have four SIM cards through three including home broadband and nothing has worked since Thursday.

phoned Three, Indian call centre and they just say, no issue, reset your phone.

funny I can drive a mile or so and be on 5G on the same device.

been with three for 25 years and no real issues until now, but seems no easy fix and Three are not bothered.

looks like I will have to leave.

Bottom end of Kenton not to far from Tesco Bridge into Kingston Park. I can actually see the top of that mast from house. Same issue complete black out at my house with my mobile broadband, used it for about 6 years now with not really any issues, if it's not fixed within next couple of days I'm going to have to switch networks unfortunately.

Yep, still down.

resigned that this won’t be fixed until an engineer works on the mast and resets it, but as Three don’t see a fault, don’t expect anything soon

Yeah I've canceled my three plan today and switched to another network. My family couldn't deal with no WiFi any longer. It's a shame because three offers a better deal, may come back in the future if it's fixed.

Getting close to this option now.

Another day and still no connection, phone works fine in Jesmond, during work but I get home to the Kingston Park NE3 postcode and nothing.

The joke, Three tried to call me today at 19.00 and lasted three seconds before being cut off. No number to call back and no attempt by Three to call back.

So there's no way for Three to call me to discuss the issue as they cannot get through.

Sixth day of being disconnected and as I have a Three WiFi home broadband router, I cannot buy another sim as the router is locked to three.

Family are really giving me real grief as it's a total data blackout and my wife is suppose to work from home.

Three have offered 7 days line rental refund, a whole £4 per account... whoop.

I have Provided the exact mast info, please just send an engineer to Tesco Kingston Park with a Three phone and see if they can get a signal?

I will even pay for a Gregg's sausage roll...

Have you tried restarting phone and 5G broadband router?

This type of comment doesn’t really help, most people are not stupid, reset is tried first, along with checking on latest firmware and resetting network settings.

fact you can drive to next nearest mast and get 5G shows the issue is with Three and the mast for the area.

no internet, no phone calls.

I have elderly parents who may be trying to ring me and I cannot use any phone in the house as all are on three.

I guess you know better, and by the sounds of it you knew that the devices been restarted. I didn't know that on Friday and only seen Amymas Sunday response today

There's only one reply that is not helping here and that is yours @Basherwalls

It’s not you, it’s the frustration with Three as they suggest the same thing.

my post isn’t helpful but I provide the Mast ID 2143 for an engineer to test. If they go to Kingston park with a Three phone, they won’t get a signal.

maybe they need to reset the mast.

having no data is nearly acceptable but no phone connection means you have no way of being contacted in an emergency.

maybe turning off the 3G towers is a little premature

I feel for you... and sounds you might have to talk with 3 support (which is, imo, a dreadfull experience...).
I had a peek at the network coverage page for the area you mentioned and of course it shows ok for 3G, 4G and 5G ...  if you are lucky to have a device that still supports 3G hold it for as long as you can and Three has 3G on. In my area they have switched of 3G and there a few black spots or areas with no coverage 🙄
