Experiencing the same issue as others have reported -:unable to receive OTPs from anyone other than 3 having recently ported. Cannot make bank payments, log into several accounts, or reverify my WhatsApp. So incredibly frustrating to see this known issue and it cannot be addressed for at least 72 hours meanwhile the clock is running down for me to return the handset and cancel in cooling off period. All the while I'm unable to use my banking and other critical apps. Really regret moving from 02. Tried everything!

Hi @mrscee168,
Believe it or not porting seemed to be a total coincidence, which was very surprising considering it was mentioned by every single person posting about this, especially considering almost all of you came from 02.
Sorry I don't know the precise details, but it looks like a number of different organisations' automated messages were failing to deliver, and the community feedback has helped correlate what the problem was so the engineers could fix it.
I'm very glad to hear confirmation from both sides that the issue seems to be fixed though. We'll mark this as resolved, but if anyone is still noticing any issues please let us know.
Thanks,
Jonathan

to put in my two-penny worth, if you guys are having inconsistent results around OTPs from the same enterprise/company and/or around different areas/postcodes makes me think, imo, that it might not be related with portability. I don't think these enterprises (sending the OTPs) are sending the OTPs over RCS as this method was introduced late 2024 in UK and from what I've seen on this forum I think Apple only allowed it for users with iOS from 18.2. in other words to new to be rolled out by these enterprises when sending OTPs and therefore I'd think they are still using the standard sms.
by any chance are any of these OTPs over the enterprise/company app (which is more of push notification over data than standard sms)?

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to hear about all the disruption this is causing. I just want to reassure you all that we have seen this topic and related ones around issues with OTPs not arriving following recent ports, and we're passing on all the feedback to the relevant teams.
I appreciate it's potentially a bit more difficult to test than triggering an OTP from an app, but can anyone affected confirm if texts from mobile numbers on other networks are being received or not?
I'll let you know as soon as I'm aware of any updates, or if we need any further info to help investigate this.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hello I do receive texts in the old format way because I've tested it with a friens as a RCS message. my phone uses the Google messaging as texting now and not the Samsung Phone's texting AND I can get OTP from you 3 as I was able to join this community. but sometimes its sporatic from various businesses and companies BUT especially Amazon. I can not receive any OTP from them.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your continued patience. Our porting team are coordinating with their counterparts in the other providers to identify the problem and fix this.
I'll let you know as soon as we have any updates, or if we need any more info to help the investigation.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi everyone,
We're still awaiting an update from our porting teams, but a similar topic was also shared that turned out to be a handset settings issue, so I'd encourage everyone to check out: Not receiving SMS Verification Text messages for some applications.
Please let us know if this helps.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Any updates on this?

Also not using an iphone. I'm confident it's not the settings as I went through all this on Friday on the phone with support and tried with RCS off and on, my number is showing correctly in the settings - and hadn't touched them since then. However yesterday evening when testing OTPs again they started coming through but only from a couple of places, not all of them, and then this morning those same ones are back to not coming through again. I changed nothing before or after and I was in the same location, everything was the same.

Hi @mrscee168,
The topic references iMessage so it looks like that's the case. However in case it's a general RCS issue, on supported Androids you'll usually find the following settings which you can try:
Open Messages
Tap your profile icon in the top right
Messages Settings
RCS chats
"Turn on RCS chats", try testing OTPs with this setting both off and on.
If RCS was already switched on when you ported, your phone may some saved settings from the old provider interfering, so you may find that switching this off and on again a couple of times corrects this, as it did with the iMessages on the other topic I shared.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I've just tried this but not luck for me. My RCS number was correct (my ported number), turned off RCS and restarted the phone and still not able to receive. Trying this on a Samsung Galaxy S25+ if that helps.
