I have just changed my contract with three but my number has not stayed the same despite not leaving three network, how do I resolve this?

Oh no, that doesn't sound right. It sounds like the contract you had wasn't changed, but a new one was set up instead.
To know for sure though, you'd need to reach out to the Support Team to get them to check the account, since no one here can do that part.
