Connectivity and speed dropped completely off for two weeks, status checker said work was ongoing to upgrade network with no time fram at my location (EX20)

Now it status checkers says there are no issues with network but my speed has been much reduced after this "upgrade"

Before: ping - 50ms Download - 30Mbps Upload - 15 Mbps
After; ping - 90ms Download - 3.5Mbps Upload - 0.5Mbps

Please explain why?
i am currently looking at other options

I tried calling but techincal support was bad.
I have found a solution for better speeds and better connectivity.
The problem is the router supplied by three, the Huawei B535-232
I downloaded LTE H-Monitor v4.63 from here: https://www.ltehmonitor.com/en/#:~:text=%20LTE%20H-Monitor%20%201%20Contents.%20%202,place%2C%20incl...

login info:
- Find Router IP
- Username: admin
- Password: (your password)
- and accept all certificates
Then on Radio tab i changed LTE band mode to manual
and selected Band 3 for both upload and download
i also forced Antenna to Internal

I am almost back up to original speed at about 20Mbps
Make sure to check your APN settings in the Network Settings Tab at https://hirouter.net
APN : three.co.uk      works for me, 3internet does not

To add to this - Careful placement of the arials/router is crucial. I found much better stabilty and speed with 2 bars agianst 4 bars, keeping the band locked on Band 3 1800 MHhz.
Further investigation also found 3internet is fine if locked at IPv4.
Thanks, look into this please.

After working for a day it went unstable. Using the tool LTE H-Monitor, I found that it mattered which mast i connected with. Moving the router an inch or a swival can reconnect to a new mast. The stronger nearer mast, that was working fine before work was done, is now very unstable. Connecting with a further away mast was far more stable but with lower maximum speed.

Soo, i suspect the stronger mast had work done to fix the IPv6 problems i encontered last year (certain services were blocked, that was fixed by locking to IPv4) but it has made the connection unstable for me. I have ordered a data sim from another network for more testing with my router (Huawei B535-232)
