For the past week the two of us have had intermittent failure of our two different iPhones to dial out. They will dial out if they are both turned off and restarted, only to fail again a few calls later. They will receive calls. This failure to dial out happens with WiFi or with 5G (and the signal is very good). Is there a problem in our area with the Three network?

Strange! I have used iPhones for years and not had that issue. It’s sounds like you’re only able to use them after they’ve initially registered on the network. You could try resetting network settings and see if that helps. Perhaps also check the Three status page to check for any problems in your area. Failing that call customer service tech support.
