I had a great year with the router getting 400+mbs but the last 4-5 months it has been terrible and constantly dropping out. I have contacted 3 multiple times and have had no luck. Any suggestions to fixing this issue

That's not so good. You should be able to get a heads up if something is going on in the area by checking the Service Checker. You could also reach out to the Home Broadband Support team where they can also check the area for issues, as well as checking the account and the hub for issues.
