Hi All, just wanted to share my disappointment at lack of flexibility with three customer service. I have been a customer since 2014. I am due an upgrade on phone from 7 march. Called three and asked could I upgrade now (without incurring the £96 charge for early upgrade) as my son will be 11 in Feb and wanted to give him my current phone as his first phone. Disappointing response ‘ system won’t let me do that’ - not impressed

Hey @Mikef, thanks for sharing your experience with us. I'm really sorry your recent conversation was so disappointing. 

You should be able to upgrade for free 38 days before your current contract ends. You can find out when that is by logging into My3. Is 7 March your contract end date?
