We do use 0333 numbers, but unfortunately "spoofing" software does allow caller IDs to be faked. Here's a link to our page on Fraud to watch out for which gives loads of helpful advice on how to spot scams and spam, as well as advice on how to report these.
If there's ever any doubt as to the identity of a caller who claims to be representing Three, don't feel pressured to give them information, and you can always get in touch, the team will be able to confirm when we've called as there's always notes of this recorded on the account.
