Increased Tariffs

Toogie76
Fledgling

Just looking at the new iPhone tariffs for new customers and existing customers and I am slightly confused.

Here's why...

iPhone 14 Pro 30GB Data - Existing customer £0.00 upfront and £73.00 per month

iPhone 14 Pro 30GB Date - New Customer £70.00 upfront and £68.00 per month

So existing customers are paying an extra £5 per month which over 24 months is equal to £120.00

If you take away the upfront cost of £70 that new customers pay, existing customers are still being ripped off as we have to pay an extra £50 over the length of the contract

To me this seems wrong

PS. I buy my phones from Affordable Mobiles as they are cheap and generally supply unlocked phones.

If your numbers are correct then it's another case off existing customers subsidising new ones. The insurance industry were stopped from doing this but others are still doing it.

Call customer services and tell then you will take your business elsewhere unless they better the new customer deal. 50 quid pays for a case, decent screen protector and a few bottles of beer
