Can't disable adult content filter

Yeserday I called 0333 338 1003 to get the adult content filter switched off, I was told it had been done and would be active with 24 hours.

Today it's still switched on, so I called again. Now there's a backend issue, meaning it can't be disabled and there is no timeframe as to when it will be fixed.

Is this actually true?

Hi, I’ve had this issue too!

I’ve called twice to have it done. Provided credit card details twice. Housemates are getting quite miffed about it (lol).

Any updates on this would be great as to not have to do it a third time.

It says somewhere on the 3 site "removing the filter is simple".  It is not !  It is a nightmare !  Online and on the phone they ask for the 07 number and it isn't even shown on the packaging for a pre-paid PAYG mobile broadband SIM. .3 failed to help me both by phone and online, so I went into a 3 store for them to do it for me. They made some attempt and told me the filter would be removed within 24 hours.  It was not !!   So back to the shop for a 2nd visit. this time a different staff member spent 30 minutes on his laptop, etc, checking my ID all over again, and got into a long web-chat with someone at 3 who finally confirmed the filter had been removed. Got home and it's finally removed.    Conclusion - 3 Network is the worst company I've ever dealt with.
