Hi,
I’m moving to wales next month and my broadband will not support 5G. Therefore I no longer require it.
I have contacted support and they are refusing to cancel my contract.
Why should I pay for something I cannot use due to moving to a remote area.

Have you tried it in the place you are moving to? You might find that even 4G speeds are better than what you can get locally in a rural area!

When you signed your contract it was for a fixed period. Not until you move to another area. It’s not a satisfactory argument you make because when Three sold you the product it was right for you and you could use it to its full potential. They didn’t stick a pin in a map and put you where you’ve moved to so you’re still liable to fulfil your side of the bargain. You may be able to pay a cancellation fee to get out of the contract but that’s up to customer service. I have to say that in my opinion the network are well within their rights.
