Is it possible to see the outdoor hubs signal strength and LED status on my phone please?
I'm using a Three 5G Outdoor Hub, mounted to the top of a 20 foot mast.
It's impossible for me to read the signal strength directly from the hub when I'm so far away from it.
I've attempted to use my camera, and zoom in to the top of the mast, but it's still impossible to read.
On your App for the older, indoor 4G router, it was possible to read the signal strength and LED status on the App. This was a much better way of doing it when mounting the outdoor hub to a mast.
This is a massive oversight, and needs addressing ASAP. You've got it the wrong way round: An indoor hub is better suited to having the display on the device, and an outdoor hub should have the display on an App because the device is going to be located remotely in most cases.
Please advise

I am also looking for a way to monitor signal strength and quality from a pc or mobile phone app.
On my hub the signal quality display is turned off when the hub is connected to the eero so cannot be used even if the hub is mounted in a visible place - I anticipate mounting the hub on an aerial pole so won't be able to acess it.
Ideally I would like to be able to download strength and quality data on a regular basis so that I can plot variations over time.
I would have thought that such information would be very useful for technical customer support so surprised that it doesn't appear to be readily available.
@PeteGHow do you log into the hub admin page

Anyone able to offer a solution to this please?
Still need a way to view signal strength of the 5G Outdoor Hub on my phone.

Hello there.
You should be able to view the signal information via the Hub admin page if you log into that.
Pete.

I was under the impression that the outdoor hub used bridge mode and passes the internet directly to an Eero gateway indoors. In this situation you never have an app to see the signal as there is generally no IP address for the modem. Also worth noting, that the lights / bars displaying signal for mobile devices are not standardised and usually only references the strength of the signal and ignores the quality of it - often it is much better to have a poor strength, high quality signal as the connection will be more stable and likely much faster.

Thank you for your reply. I believe you're correct in saying: "the outdoor hub used bridge mode and passes the internet directly to an Eero gateway indoors. In this situation you never have an app to see the signal as there is generally no IP address for the modem"
What I would like, and requesting for, is an App that simply replicates the signal strength that is shown on the outdoor hubs display.
I understand exactly what you're saying about lights/bars displaying signal strength on mobile devices, however they're extremely useful when finding the best location for the hub.
I live in a location where there's no 4G or 5G signal indoors.
To get any signal, I have to mount my hub on a mast, and wander round my garden trying to see the display for a signal reading.
I hope this clarifies my need for a signal display for the hub, that's able to be viewed on my phone.
Appreciate your feedback and any advice you can give.
Thank you.
