Just got an eero mesh WiFi router and have set up my 5g router in Bridge mode but I have no idea how to turn the WiFi on the Three router off, as recommended in all the articles I’ve read.
I’ve logged onto the Three router to set up Bridge mode but I have no idea what to do in the WiFi settings. Is it just a case of disabling the WiFi switch in WiFi advanced settings?
Thanks in advance.
Frank

It looks like that Hub can't completely disable Wifi.
The 2.4ghz band is always live. The 5ghz band looks like it can be disabled though. You'll need to unmerge the bands first (if they are merged), you should be able to do this in the Wifi - Configure Wifi section.
You might be disconnected temporarily, once you're back up and running head back into the Wifi settings and you should be able to disable the 5ghz band.
On your eero mesh, you'll have your own wireless network, and your own wireless network name, so you won't need to worry about confusing it with the one that's being broadcast from the MC888.

Hello there.
If you're looking to switch over to using the eero mesh Wifi router completely, you can disable the Wifi on your 5G hub and use the eero mesh as your main Wifi network.

Pete that’s what I’m trying to do but I don’t know how to turn the WiFi off through the admin hub for the 5g router. If I do turn it off how do I access the hub again if I decide to deactivate it.

Can you confirm which make and model of 5G hub you have?

Thanks Pete I’ll give that a go.
I think some devices (Alexa, light bulbs) might still be connecting to the Three router as they are all still working after setting up my new network and I have not had to reconfigure them.
I assume that I can go into the Three router and block all devices trying to connect to it and I’ll then have to reconnect them all to my new mesh WiFi.

You can give either the primary or guest networks on the eero the same id and password as the old router so they can continue to connect without the hassle of reconfiguiring them.
