Is anyone else occasionally getting a 'connection down' error from Chrome (or 'Secure Connection Failed' from Firefox) when changing page - if I hit refresh it works fine. At first I wondered if it was the site I was using but have noticed it on multiple different major websites over the past couple of months and not noticed it from other locations where I don't use Three Broadband so does seem to be related to the router/connection (this is via wired Ethernet too, so not a WiFi problem). I've tried changing DNS server in case that helps but no difference.
It mainly seems to happen when trying to first load a site or (annoyingly) at checkout when a different site is being loaded as part of the checkout process. It certainly doesn't happen everytime but does happen with reasonable frequency. I've also noticed I often get it when trying to pull/push from/to Github too and have to do so a number of times for it to work (browsing the Github website works fine).

The issue is definitely not a router specific issue as I have tested on a ZTE MC801A and a Zyxel NR5103EV2 with no apparent changes
I would have tested on another router but it had a faulty SIM card slot - Something that may still be common amongst the routers provided

I haven't had any 'secure connection failed' errors for the last couple of weeks but instead some pages will randomly fail to load completely or pause for a while and then load as normal. Maybe Three made some changes in the background but the issue is not fully fixed.

Sometimes I would experience similar issues when testing although I did not think too much about them at the time as it would happen quite often on the 3internet APN but very rarely on the three.co.uk APN (And iD Mobile's APN which I am now using)
It is likely related to the usual issue

Some days seem significantly worse than others needing to hit refresh half a dozen times for links to start working etc.
Another issue I'm getting is affecting work more recently....obviously work is generally on a VPN, but some things are split tunneled, and some of those that are are affected are causing a huge pain so I have to RDP to a server to then do some simple tasks instead

Recently I've also had issues with PS5 randomly failing to login to Playstation network when starting an online game such as Valorant which causes the game to give an error. I'm wondering if this issue is also related to this topic of this thread.
Ookla Speedtest is also occasionally failing with a 'network error' when attempting to perform a test.

Yeah. I was seeing this issue months and months ago but (maybe coincidentally) by introducing a mesh network in the house, it went away.
It's back with a vengeance now though - I'm seeing the same PS Networking issues this last 2 days to the point where I'm nearly banned for the season from Overwatch due to the number of dropped connections on game start.
Please sort this out. Whatever you're doing has suddenly made it much, much worse for me.

I also see that all the issues reported over the last 6 months or so by various users are now hitting me at once: really high latency when making a connection, inability to use banking apps reliably, stuttering when streaming from Disney+, SSL errors when using github, com and as mention above, connection drops when connecting to online games. I'm seeing that roughly 7 out of 10 Overwatch games disconnect when attempting to connect to the server which means I'm now banned until the end of the season (mid October). Great,
I'm obviously less than impressed.
Three - it's clear that whatever resources you're throwing at this are nowhere near enough. Unfortunately, It's obvious to us now that you _know_ this - any company that has an open issue with many customers affected for nearly a year makes a decision about how to progress with it and what resources to assign to it. Your current level of investment into this issue is a very deliberate choice and one that reflects very poorly on your commitment to provide a decent broadband service to paying customers.
You really really need to spend more time and resources on this issue. You clear
You obviously know that this is the case and have chosen not to assign any further r

Not sure where those partial sentences came from but you get the idea.

It is. I have the same login issues using xbox gamepass and battlenet on pc. I sometimes have to try to login 5 or more times before it accepts that I'm actually connected to the internet to play a game, really annoying.

It is most likely related
Speed testing related, try https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/speed-test/ instead as it is also powered by Ookla - Ever since the changes they made to the main speed test website page, this has been my main way of testing speeds
