Hi there
I've had three home broadband for over a year now. I'm a web developer that works from home and sometimes needs to transfer various files to FTP servers.
Something has changed within the last week as I am no longer able to securely connect to any FTP server using TLS. It's worked fine for the past year. I can FTP via connecting to my non-three phone as a hotspot, so it's not a hardware or software issue.
This is a major issue for me.
Please can someone assist.

So, the issue went away on it's own not long after my post, and was working perfectly up until the outage problems yesterday. It's now back, and using a VPN is again the only workaround. It's clearly an issue Three is aware of given it being fixed last time...

I don't know if this helps, but I too am a developer and recently hit a similar problem using Filezilla.
what I found was that one site I was trying to connect to (which I had previously connected to successfully) I could no longer reach, BUT a different site I was able to reach.
After a bit of checking and searching, I tried again but this time with a VPN running.
This time I could connect ot BOTH sites successfully.
Still not sure what is going on exactly, but I wondered if Three had some filters blocking certain IP addresses?
Anyway, at least I can now use FTP providing I'm running a VPN.

Hi everyone,
I'll be honest I'm not too familiar with FTP, other than a quick online search, but I'm sure if we can eliminate as many factors as possible we can then raise this onto our Service Desk.
Can anyone let me know, and multiple users corroborate if possible:
- Is this issue Three Broadband specific, or happening with mobiles on Three too?
- Does it make any difference whether the connection is over 3/4/5G?
- Is this a constant issue, or intermittent?
- Does this happen on both of our APNs 3internet (default for Broadband) and three.co.uk (default for phone SIMs)?
- Assuming it's a router/broadband specific issue does switching to an IPv4 only connection help?
Let me know on the above and this should be a good starting point for getting an investigation started.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Can you tell me is this issue fixed yet? Just moved to 3 home broadband and now can't publish any apps to my web server.

Hi @bigjim, @presnickson,
Which model of router are you using?
Thanks,
Jonathan
