Ok so we have a three 5g hub in a barn workshop at the back of our house and has been working fine for over a year really good download speeds as we are close to a 5g mast. We decided to get one for the house also as the speeds are really good, new one has arrived and clicked the sim in but it just doesn’t connect to the network just has a solid red globe and a flashing blue signal bars light, I thought perhaps I didn’t put the SIM card in right on the new one so checked out old one popped the sim out just to check it’s the right way round which it was but now our original one has the same problem as the new one solid red globe light and a blue flashing signal light I’ve reset both of them many times and always get the same lights, been onto support but they just said do the things I’ve already done and have now 2 5g hubs with the same problem, I’ve taken the sims out to try in my phone and both work fine in a phone but will not work in the new hub or the old one now, currently
pulling my hair out support are useless and I’ve no idea what to do next apart from just leave them and hope they connect

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the SIMs for your Broadband services. As the SIM cards are working in the phone it sounds like they're active. It's possible the new router could have a hardware fault with the SIM reader, but it doesn't seem likely given that you're saying the old router is behaving the same way since you checked it.
Other Community members have noted that these routers do need the SIM to be positioned very precisely to be read correctly, for instance have a read at this topic: NR5103EV2 5G broadband
I'd recommend to give the SIMs a wipe with soft cloth just in case there's condensation, dust, or debris stopping the metallic parts from making proper contact, and double check the orientation of the SIM is definitely correct in case it's upside down or flipped, and that the SIM is fully inserting into the slot.
I've seen a couple of posts in the past mentioning that the SIM needs to "click" into place the last millimeter, so it might be just slightly out of place and failing to read. Let me know if any of this helps, or if you've managed to find a solution in the meantime.

I am having a very hard time getting my old 5g hub and new 5g hub to read the SIM cards, they are inserted correct but the hub just won’t recognise them atall tried about 6 times and just keep getting a blue flashing signal light please need help
