I have been dealing with Three's customer service for over 6 months now, ever since our new contract started. Issues:
- Frequent disconnects with the new Zyxel router, which will not reconnect automatically. This is a big problem when you're not at home and rely on your home broadband to monitor your home & pets via security cameras.
- Speeds that used to be around 500meg have dropped to 100meg
Despite hundreds of hours spent on the phone, email and social media with Three's customer service, the executive team and even their accessibility team, this has not been resolved.
We have now had TWO replacement routers, so are on our third now. Every new router takes hours to set up, as we have a number of WiFi connected and smart home devices that have to be re-connected and the router reconfigured.
Our issues have still not been resolved and we can't get anyone to help. We're just told to go back to customer service and start the process all over again. When we've done that in the past, it's extra few hours of basic troubleshooting which eventually lead to nowhere.
What saddens me is that there's nobody at Three that has taken responsibility for our problems or that appreciates and understands the frustration we've experienced. It's just like they do not care.
I already suffer from anxiety and depression, which has been communicated to Three, and having to deal with this over the past 6 months has only made my mental health issues worse.
I do not know what to do now. 😢

My honest advice is make a copy of all the phone calls, emails and online chats that you can and take it to the communications ombudsman.
Three are unwilling and incapable of resolving this issue (look at how many are experiencing it, and the support representatives still say you're the only one having the issue)...
It's not worth the toll on your mental health - three aren't worth it - see what other providers give you 5g coverage and try one of those - they cannot possibly be as dreadful as this shower.
Good luck!
(Have you made sure ipv6 is disabled everywhere you can see it on the router options? That can help increase the stability slightly, but it will still disconnect but not be disconnected...)
