I have the Zyxel router at my caravan and currently struggling to get a consistent strong signal. Can anybody explain what the lights on the top of the router mean as there was no explanation with the router when I received it. How do I tell whether it is connecting to 5G, 4G etc?
I'm wondering whether to try an external aerial but they are very expensive so I would like some reassurance I'm buying the right thing, the router has 4 aerial connections but very few aerial seem to actually have 4x4 MIMO - woudl connecting a 2x2 MIMO work (even if not as good as 4x4) - if so which terminals should I connect it to?
Has anybody managed to obtain a user manual for this router - it seems Zyxel will not actually let you have access to one?

I'm glad to hear you are least getting 4G coverage at a good speed.
My network mast is just over 50 metres away which I can see from my bedroom window. I'm getting 800+ Mbps on 5G. A lot faster than my old ADSL connection at 30Mbps. Ha!

It's a long time since your post but this may help. The above page is from a starter guide leaflet that came with my router.
I also can't find a user manual for this as I believe it's only supplied to network operators but I did come across this Zyxel EX5501 user manual online which has a similar web-based interface.

Thank you for your response, I was able to eventually understand what my router was doing (unfortuantely I can't get a decent 5G signal in my caravan but it's giving me a good speed of 100MBs plus on 4G)
