Technically they have launched eSIM just for new customers. They’ll be migrating users from the old system to the new over the course of this year.

Customer Service just told me 2023, guessing that they're still having issues rolling it out? Bit ridiculous that it's taking this long for eSIM when the other MNOs implemented some time ago.
Finding it frustrating because one of my lines is an eSIM and the other is not. The eSIM contract comes to an end in January and I plan to terminate it. I'd really like to use my second line in my phone but main EE SIM takes up the physical sim slot and I want the flexibility of being able to move that line frequently.
Three CS won't issue an eSIM because that line is not on the trial although as a customer I am.

Any luck on eSim roll-out? I have been awaiting for eSim since last year 🙄.

They said by the end of this year so they’ve got 25 days left (excluding today) 😅
I’m rather hoping that the maintenance on the website this week has something to do with it. One of my lines was a trial eSIM line but the other isn’t and I’d quite like to switch it over as that contract is expiring and I’m not planning to renew it.
