Using a new sim

I have finished my 24 month contract with  3.I will keep the phone and switch to a sim only deal.When I put the new sim in will I lose all the contacts,apps photographs etc.Or do I need to back everything up.

Please move your sim contacts to Google or iCloud and be worry free in case you lose the sim etc or anything happens to phone (I don’t wish this happen but just telling) in that case on new device all contacts will be sync.

Same with photos, you can sync them to cloud like Google Photos or iCloud or pCloud

Photos and Apps should stay on the phone. Contacts should too but check if you have any stored on the SIM just incase. I would probably do a backup just to be on the safe side.
