Welcome to Three Community, we’re glad you’re here.
If you haven’t had a look around yet, start with Community info for all the details you need to get going. There are handy tips on how to write posts, how to make the most of your time here and of course, the guidelines.
To get the conversation going right away though, we’d love to hear from you in the comments below. Don’t share any private details, but introduce yourself and let us know about your favourite bit of tech.
Why not share what you love most about your current devices?
Or any cherished memories of an old classic?
What new features are you hoping to see from the mobile tech of the future?
As a thanks for getting involved and to celebrate our new community, you’ll be automatically entered into our prize draw when you post a comment on one or more of these questions. The prize draw will close at 23:59 on 11 July 2022 and no comments will be counted after that. One winner will be randomly selected on 13 July 2022 from all eligible entries.
The prize? An amazing big night in bundle, brought to you in conjunction with our friends at Three+. With a 32” LG TV, Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, a Lenovo SmartTab M10 and a whopping £50 Uber Eats voucher, it’ll set you up perfectly for a big night in.

The main thing I think that's going to be important in tech as a whole is batteries and advances in their tech over time. We'll need to power more energy-draining devices but are running out of valuable metals for batteries so alternative battery tech is going to be increasingly important to ensure we have a plentiful supply and sufficient to power all our tech.

Been with Three about 18 years. I currently have 2 contracts. I have an S10 at the moment but looking to upgrade to the s22 soon. Remember when the first camera phones came out, amazing idea. I would like to see a vast improvement on phone battery life in the future.

I'm Mark, currently have the Samsung S21 FE. Great camera and picture quality, quick app loading and great memory. The battery life is good for the amount I use my phone and the Sim from 3 is exceptional for the price, would like to see an even longer charge and more connectivity between devices and apps. Thank you 3

Hello I'm Starz12
I love my mobile but I do miss having a replaceable battery. I think the new flip phones remind me of my old Star tac phones and Motorola Razr phones. I did like my foldable but they were a lot thicker than they are now, although easier to fit in a pocket.
I do see that some people are now moving away from the feature-hungry phones and going for the much simpler types. The ones that make calls, text, pictures, and even WhatsApp. These do tend to have much longer battery life. I do tend to use most of the features on my phone though and am a heavy user of it.
I'm now looking for a phone for my other half which is an upgrade from the old J3 2016. It can't have too many complicated things for him. He just wants a basic phone but with updated Google maps as his phone can't update any further.
