Hello! My name is Oksana. I came to the UK from Ukraine on 3 April, and shortly after I received a free SIM-card from Three, which gave me an opportunity to connect to my family back home, and I am very grateful to Three for this!
Now I live in Cardiff, where I met animal right activists. And I need a TV screen to show the footage from the labs who conduct experiments on poor beagles to the public.
Soon, on July 9, we will join the nation-wide campaign to shut the lab where they conduct experiments on baby beagles. They do horrible stuff on them, which is totally unnecessary, and mostly cannot even be applied to humans. All those experiments are just due to outdated procedures that are made mandatory because of some old books. Now we have computer modelling, cell culture growing, we can even grow some human tissues, so we don't need to do all those horrific things on poor docile beagles.
If I could have a TV screen that we could plug into a car's accumulator and show what's going on in those labs to public, let people see the footage, it could hugely help with raising awareness and helping us with this cause.
Also, when not involved in activism, the TV set could help me with being more involved in the British culture and way of living, to understand the country where I am in better, and to have professional and to have professional and trusted news about the situation back home.
Three, I have a good cause, and I need this TV!
