Ready to Roam in 2025?

Spring has finally sprung and as we look ahead to the Easter holidays and beyond many people’s thoughts will turn to travel abroad.  Wherever your wanderlust takes you, you’ll want to remain connected, so we'd like to take some time to talk about how you can get ready to Roam.

Go Roam makes it easier than ever to roam on Three allowing you to use your data, minute, and text allowances in over 160 destinations worldwide*.

If you are a Pay Monthly customer and you joined or upgraded after 1^st Oct 2021, then you can use your allowance in all three Go Roam bands. 

• Our Three Your Way Value and Complete plans include Daily Go Roam passes, giving you up to 56 days of roaming.
• No inclusive passes? No problem, if you are on our Lite or Advanced plans, you can still pay less for roaming by buying a Go Roam pass before you travel. You can get a pass for 3, 7, and 14 days. It’ll activate the first time you use your allowance abroad.  What’s more, you can get up to 2 days roaming free when you buy a Go Roam pass*.
• You can easily check whether your plan has inclusive Daily Go Roam Passes, or buy a Go Roam pass  by visiting My3 or by logging in to the Three app.
• Where either the inclusive pass allowance is exhausted or a roaming pass has expired, you'll be charged the daily roaming charge**.

If you are a Pay Monthly customer and you joined or upgraded before 1^st Oct 2021

• You can use your allowance in Go Roam in Europe and Go Roam Around the World without worrying about any Daily Roaming Charges, as these don’t apply.
• If you are travelling to one of the 92 destinations in Go Roam Around the World Extra, you will pay the ‘rest of world rates’ – which can cost a lot more and so we would recommend turning off data roaming and using WiFi wherever possible.

Thanks for reaching out to us here. 

Your roaming access will depend on whether you are on Pay as You Go or Monthly, and which plan you have.

Please pop your plan details into our Roaming page to see what's required for you to roam.

If you wish to share some info here on your plan type, when your contract started (If you're on Pay Monthly), and where you're travelling to, I'd be happy to help with some more info.

If you're a Pay Monthly customer then North Macedonia is covered by Go Roam Around the World Extra, you can read more about this here: Introducing Go Roam Around the World Extra

Hey. 

You can add passes through My3 on the app, or the website, or by contacting the support team on chat. Alternatively, the system will bill you for a pass each day you are roaming and using allowances. This is assuming you're in a Go Roam destination, and have a spend limit that is not too low.

Since Brexit no need in these companies just buy an unlocked phone and buy a cheap sim in country you are going to. Pay as you go all the way from now on. Three aren’t getting a penny out of me ever again. They tell you anything to get you tied to a contract then they just abandon as soon as you have a problem (a certainty if you travel to the E.U) you unless you don’t pay a bill. Tesco mobile pay as you go from now on.
