Calling issue 23/01/2025 [UPDATED]

Hi everyone,

UPDATE: Following an issue affecting voice calls yesterday, services have almost returned to normal overnight. Our monitoring has picked up an issue with calls connected via WiFI which we are investigating urgently.

Today, we also expect to see an additional impact on our service due to Storm Éowyn in some areas. We have already deployed extra engineering resources and planning for these areas, so we can bring sites that are impacted back online as soon as it is safe to do so.

A normal volume of 999 calls were connected yesterday and our monitoring confirms the service is working fully this morning.  We continue to investigate the small number of reports that we received about 999 call failures. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused by the issues on our voice network. 

Due to these issues, our phone and chat lines are and will continue to be incredibly busy, so we're aware there may also be issues getting through to the teams at the moment. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Me too, cant make or receive calls but only through whatsapp, very annoying must be something to do with three

Same for me in Poole Dorset internet working but no calls in or out

I am having the same issue can only make and receive calls via WhatsApp. Very weird and frustrating have an important voicemail I can’t access!!!

Same here, so frustrating. Tried to reach out to Three but live bot not connecting me to an agent. Useless

Can't make calls either and the three bot is useless

Omg I thought it was just me. I can’t even call three because the calls aren’t going through , it’s not making a dialling sound . I spoke to a live bot person who said (since I purchased a new phone) it was a manufacture issue . Which I don’t think is the case since sometimes my phone will ring. Like this morning a call went through to family but now this evening absolutely nothing and three are saying there’s no connectivity issues in my region so I’m absolutely lost.

This is also happening to me right now I can use data for WhatsApp calls and even connect to the internet just can’t make or receive calls

I can’t believe we haven’t had someone from Three advising us on what’s going on?

Both me and my wife can’t make calls…Edinburgh Scotland
