As the Huawei p20 pro is prevented from using the AT and T network in the USA how can I force my phone to use T mobile

Considering what the US government thinks of Huawei I'm surprised they let you in the country. Sorry but could not resist.

Hey there! You should be able to go into your phone's settings and manually select T-Mobile 😊 Hope that helps!

I've pasted some steps here: 

1. Press Settings.
2. Press Wireless & networks.
3. Press Mobile network.
4. Press Carrier.
5. If you want to select a network manually, press the indicator next to "Choose automatically" to turn off the function.
6. Press OK and your phone will search for networks.
7. Press the required network.
