Hi,
I've been thinking about ways to reduce the impact caused by network congestion.
Are there any settings customers can change to improve the service and reduce the probability of congestion?
Thanks.

Hi @MSHK47,
Most network features to mitigate congestion are automated and managed on the network side, but as @Clever-Trevor pointed out using Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling where available can help reduce the volume of data over the local network.
It can also help to restrict background data on non-essential apps, as many of your apps could be checking for updates when you're not actively using them.
I'd also recommend to familarise yourself with where to find the options to manually select 4G or 5G. The vast majority of the time this will be fine on automatic, but you may find the odd case where a fault or congestion means that manually dropping to 4G provides a faster or more stable connection.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Use WiFi & WiFi calling - use 5G standard - ( or move to EE & never worry about congestion )

@Clever-Trevor is that what you did? 😜
