Ofcom text to switch - PAC code

Ofcom 'Text to Switch' doesn't work for THREE customers how are they getting away with it? Website says log onto your account and go to 'More Actions' and they have removed the 'Leave Three' option!

Hi @Empiboy,

You can find more info on how to request your PAC on our More information about leaving Three page. I've just tested this and generated a PAC. Can you walk me through the process you're following, or any errors you're encountering?

You should be able to Text 65075 with PACDDMMYYYY (with DDMMYYYY representing your Date of Birth as registered on your account).

On My3 check out the "Manage your plan" option in the screenshot you shared, you should find the leave option there.

Thanks,
Jonathan

I haven't got my date of birth wrong and the text from Three says PACDDMMYY. I have just tried PACDDMMYYYY as you stated and same 'weren't able to verify'. 'Manage your plan' as below does not give a leave option. So only option is to contact Three which is what Ofcom says you shouldn't have to do

Hi @Empiboy,

Sorry I'm not suggesting that you will have entered any incorrect details. Please be cautious with uploading images to the Community, if personal details are visible on your images we'll need to stop these displaying. If you're unable to use the auto switch message, this could happen if you have more than one number with Three, or there may be an issue on the account we need to look into further.

It looks like the image you were trying to share was of the "Manage Account User" page, rather "Manage Your Plan" though. On this page you should see your number, plan info, contract term, options for spend limit and adult content filter, then just below this either the leave options, or your PAC or STAC details if you've generated one.

Can you double check the "Manage your plan" option and scroll down past the info on Adult content, and let me know what you're seeing there?
