I recently ported my number from Lyca to Three. Unfortunately since then I am unable to receive calls or texts, can make and send them though. People who call me receive a message stating number called not recognised, however the number does show correctly on my Three account.
I have chatted to advisors online and they have been helpful, told me this is being looked into, but couldn't give any further details or timescales and I am just a bit concerned I may be missing important calls and texts, just wondered if anyone could shed further light on this?
TIA

Same here - my old number has transferred to my new phone and I can use Whatsapp but calls to my number go to voicemail and I cannot receive texts. When I try to register the number for texts it says that it will need to send me a text!

I have the same problem, in that I cannot receive calls on my Three sim card, BUT I did NOT change provider, but have been with Three for 7+ years. I just changed mobile. My old mobile just stopped working, so I got a new one. The sim is recognised in the mobile, NOT on silent or flight mode or 'do not disturb', but I just cannot receive any calls on it. Nothing changed, except the mobile. It's dual sim (my old one was too) and the other sim works fine. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey @Wardbina
We are sorry to hear you have this issue also,
If you can try and swap the sim cards between the two slots or test the sim in another phone.
This should help determine if it is the phone or the SIM that is the issue.
Let us know if your able to test that and if not we can point you to further to further help

Have the exact same issue as I ported from Vodafone. Contacted support a many number of times even went out and got a replacement sim (as per the advice of a customer support member) still no luck. Decided to contacted support again via live chat and the agent just said and I quote "it will work." after asking if I had changed my number in my settings (I had done so when I received the device a month ago) he then proceeded to end the chat on me.
I haven’t been able to access a number of my online banking apps or receive important texts or calls. The fact that this is my very first experience with 3 is extremely disappointing and I am seriously considering just cancelling my contract because this is ridiculous.

Hello Kiymadeit,
We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing the issues you are having form when you ported over from Vodafone.
We understand this is frustrating as you mentioned that you cannot access your banking apps or receive your important calls and texts.
I have sent you a private message regarding this.

A few months later but I’m in the situation. I’ve just transferred from Lyca to 3 can’t receive calls or texts but can make and send.
I hope it’s fixed asap.

Hi @DPH23,
I'm really sorry but in this case Lyca recently suffered a cyberattack and it has caused ports during October to be delayed from their network. We've managed to start getting this back on track with them this week, so hopefully it should now be sorted, or if not very soon. Does your number seem to have transferred over yet?
Thanks,
Jonathan

I’ve also transferred my number this week from Lyca and have the same issue - not receiving calls or messages but being able to send them. When they’ve resolved their internal issue or whatnot will three automatically reattempt to port my number or will I have to get in touch with them. Also, do you roughly know how long this is going to take, I’m currently unable to access my work email which requires me to verify using my phone number. Thanks.
